How to add Universal+ to Apple Pay

Add the card to Wallet, check device requirements and verify it.

What you need

Apple Pay supports Universal+; Universal is not compatible. You need a compatible Apple device, current software, a signed-in Apple Account and a passcode or biometric security. Apple Pay and the card must be available for your device and region.

Add the card

  1. Open Wallet and tap +. Choose a debit or credit card and continue.
  2. Choose manual entry. Open Universal+ in SafePay and enter your card’s number, expiry and CVV.
  3. Check the holder details against Billing, accept the terms and complete the verification method offered by the issuer.
  4. Wait for Wallet to confirm that the card is ready. Then select it for supported contactless or online payments.

If the offered verification method is unavailable or Wallet asks you to contact the issuer, save the error and contact SafePay Support. Avoid repeated code requests.

If Apple Wallet says “Card Not Added”

  1. Confirm you are adding Universal+. Universal is not supported for Apple Pay.
  2. Check that the device supports Apple Pay, has current software, a screen lock or biometric security, and an Apple Account signed in. Confirm Apple Pay is available for your device and actual region.
  3. Enter the number, expiration date and CVV manually from Universal+ Card Details. Use the actual cardholder details from Billing where requested.
  4. Follow the specific verification method offered in Wallet. A code or approval may be sent through a channel determined by the issuer; do not assume it must arrive in the Telegram bot. Avoid repeatedly requesting codes.
  5. If Wallet rejects the card, save the exact error and attempt time, then contact SafePay Support without disclosing CVV or one-time codes.

A VPN or arbitrary change to device region is not an assurance that Apple Pay will work and cannot override issuer or country restrictions.
