- Advertised validity is 4 years. Check your own card details for its exact expiry.
- Google Pay and 3D Secure are supported. Apple Pay, ChatGPT and Claude are not supported.
Universal is the card name shown in the app.
Before the first payment
Check that your intended merchant accepts this type of card, then fund it using an in-app invoice. Use your own card number, expiry, CVV and billing information. Complete any requested 3D Secure confirmation in SafePay. The merchant region and purchase category must be allowed.
When using Universal at checkout
For an eligible online purchase, choose card payment and copy the number, expiration date and CVV from SafePay → Card Details. If the merchant requests a billing address, copy the actual one from SafePay → Billing; the card is issued in Hong Kong. Provide your own accurate name and personal-account information where requested. Card issuing country and customer residence are different concepts.
Universal supports Google Pay, but not Apple Pay. It is not supported for ChatGPT or Claude. For other services, verify the particular merchant and purchase type before loading the card. Do not assume that a VPN is needed for every purchase or can override an unsupported transaction.
